If I lived in Kenya, I would be a patriot.

A journal I enjoyed that I forgot to mention yesterday: Something to Remember. This is another one I found via the diarist.net Registry because we live in the same county.

Blue Armadillo is ranked first when searching Google for "jack welch impersonator". Why in God's name would anyone want to hire a Jack Welch impersonator?

I read a lot of journals today. Here are some of the best:

  • The Fool - recommended by Monitor
  • Monitor - recommended by Weetabix
  • Perceptions - recommended by Weetabix
  • Digital Ink - recommended by Vanessa
  • Bfee - recommended by Weetabix
  • Zannie - not recommended by anyone. I found her in the Registry at diarist.net because she and I live in the same town.
  • First Person Particular - no clue. I remember visiting her site last month, and bookmarking it to take a closer look later, but I can't remember who sent me there. Oh well, doesn't matter, I guess.

I've been listening to a lot of "Americana" music lately. Americana encompasses a lot of genres: folk, traditional country and bluegrass, zydeco, Hawaiiana, and several others. Two of my favorite places for Americana are Hober and Bluegrass Country. The former is more diverse -- Bluegrass Country pretty much just plays bluegrass -- but I really like both of them.

My friend Takisha sent me this Stick man Kung Fu Flash animation. It's fun!

I'm so proud: Blue Armadillo ranks first when you do a Google search on regicide jenna bush. What I don't understand is why anyone was looking for that.

"Two Papua New Guinea fishermen have bled to death after having their penises bitten off by pirahna-like river fish." Gaaaaaaah.

Monty Ashley has been single since 1995. Hey, me too! At least we both still have Zoidberg.

In her most recent journal entry, Vanessa worried that I had pictures of her playing Buffy characdes that would make her look foolish. Vanessa, I do have pictures like that, and I can be persuaded to not post them for a modest fee. We can discuss it further at Ginnicon II: The Quickening.

Incidentally, I want to point out that this item links to a journal entry by Vanessa that links to a journal entry by me that links to a journal entry by her. Four layers of referentiality is pretty good, I think.
